Loosely based on Vienna style, Wisconsin Amber is a rich, malty lager balanced out with mild hop bittering and enticing hop flavor. Very fulfilling. Very drinkable.

Bottle from PfoxyJohn. Light amber pour, medium tight white head, some lazy lacing - beautiful in the pint glass. Adequate lightly sweet and hoppy aroma, pleasing and inviting. Super easy to drink flavor - light caramel maltiness, lightly hopped bitterness, lightly sweet. Could drink a ton of these. Thanks John.

An orange-amber colored beer with a big foamy textured, off white head rising above. It settles fairly quickly, leaving a medium sized ringlet. The nose is light, orange I get. The taste is a mild malt grassy hops. Medium bodied. Really flavorful.

A very good amber - pours copper-amber with a faint head that quickly disapates with minimal lacing. Aroma is mildly sweet with caramel. Medium to full-bodied and sweet with caramel flavor and malt. Clean finish.

Bottled@Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some slight cardboardy notes as well. Flavour is the same with caramel and mild notes of earth and herbs.

A good-looking beer, coppery gold with a fair-sized tan head, but it quickly disapates leaving little trace. Aroma is lightly seet with caramel notes and a faint hop-fruity tinge. Mouthfeel is full and robust. Very well-balanced; smooth caramel malts yield to a pleasant hop bitterness and a long satisfying dry finish. Well-crafted and very drinkable version of the Vienna style.

Tasted on tap. This amber pours a medium brown color. Small sized beige foamy head. Aroma is caramel and sweet, touch of bread. A medium bodied amber. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are slightly floral. There is a touch of sourness to this amber that sets it slightly apart from the typical brewpub amber. A very drinkable amber, hate to say this but its NOT boring, almost. Mouthfeel is full. Finish in clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

"This beer was a smooth, easily drinkable, beer that would make an everyday beer. At the bar, I always use this beer as a chaser when I sample a nasty one."

Capital's flagship brew, and my first from them. Nice brightly coloured clear amber with a medium white head which quickly diminishes. Fruity aroma of pears, plums and a little grain. Taste is light, refreshing and pleasent throughout the beer.

partial cloudy amber color with a thin head. Not overpowering at all and very smooth due to the maltyness (my made up word). almost has a creamy texture to it.

Served at this little pizza joint downstairs from a party we hit up in Madison. Went very well with a few slices of pizza. Certainly a slightly tamer (watery) version of their O-fest. Malty and very easy to drink, a nice beer.
