Had this fantastic beer again at pfoxyjohn's hideout. Pours a cloudy golden orange colour. Big fluffhead. Aroma is clovis mann, spicey and boozey. Taste is fruity, yeast, spices and herbaceous. Very big beer, totally suprised my buds.

Orange/amber colored and hazy with a long lasting collar of head and a pronounced fruity aroma. Medium to full bodied and citrusy on the tongue, sweet and meaty like saurbraten with stewed dried fruit, cloves and a faint alcohol presence. Clean finish on the sweet side and it tastes German to me!

This brew has a slightly cloudy orange amber hue topped by a thin, fizzy off white head with some lacing left behind. The aroma is slightly sweet yet sour and citrusy with slight notes of banana and a touch of yeastiness. The flavor is very similar to the aroma with less sourness and stronger banana notes. Medium bodied, smooth and refreshing.

Interesting beer. It is a dopplebock, but is the color of apricot juice. It has a slight fruit flavor in the midst. Nothing really distinctive. At least not to me. There is no note on ABV but I would guess 7%. IMO,this is a good, higher potency summer beer. I will be buying a case next time out.
