Well made English style IPA. Good amber color with a generous head and sticky lacing. Biscuit and caramel aroma with a mix of floral hops. Full bodied, moderately bitter and very enjoyable. Flavor follows the aroma with a little more depth of nutty, toasted malts. Hops are well intertwined with the malt.

Hazy amber pour with minimal white head. Aroma is hoppy with a bit of sweetness, maybe a little alcohol present. Taste is bitter, with some sweet malt and caramel. This is a far cry from the better IPAs I've had--wouldn't seek it out. Seems to be lacking in the floral hop aroma and taste I've grown accustomed to.

Cask conditioned at the Great British Beer Festival 2008, gravity dispense. Copper coloured beer, minimal head. Nice hoppy aroma and flavour, notes of blackcurrants.

I thought this was a stellar IPA for the most part. I really enjoyed this beer. It was extremely hoppy, orangish, cloudy in appearance and overall true to the style. I would put this particular IPA in the same class with Smuttynose IP and Stone IPA. A VERY good beer. I would recommend people to try it if they can find it. Given there aren't many reviews, I would guess this is a tough one to locate.

Cloudy orange with a soapy white head in the sampler glass. Smell is grapefruit, citrus and syrup. Chewy flavor with good resiny taste along with the citrus, grapefruit and caramel. Solid but nothing to write home about.

Beer pours cloudy amber color with some head and lacing. Stinky aroma of wet cardboard and burnt orange. The flavor had some burnt sweet malts, toast, toasted fruits, burnt caramel and a wicked hop bitterness that tasted like someone had scorched my tongue when I was through. A lot of complexity, but none of the flavors seemed very good.
