This deliciously crisp beer is perfect for a hot summer day. The delicate taste of apricots gives a splash of sweetness to the crisp, clean wheat ale and results in a refreshingly pure flavour sensation.

Two reviews in one paragraph here, both written on the same day on a climbing trip to skaha. Tasted on tap at the brewery in the afternoon, just brewed. (numbers come from here). Had again in the afternoon at the beach from a bottle. (Those numbers as follows: 5,7,7,7,6). The beach bottle was a bit skunky, and the flavours were a bit thick and muted. The brewery on the other hand was lively, light in chaaracter but still medium bodied, faint bits of yeast trailing, great grilled apricot flavour. Really fantastic.

Arrives with a resilient, creamy white head, topping a body of cloudy medium gold. Aroma was an enticing apricot scent, as was the taste, although the latter had an addition of perhaps coriander. Nice mouth and finish. Not as good as the St Ambroise, but still very nice.
