Pistols at Dawn is inspired by a road trip to Texas , indulging in southern flavours, and a lot of BBQ. Cameron’s decided to create an ale which could duel with the intense flavour of the Lone Star state. We would compare this to nothing else on the market because of its unique flavour profile. The use of high intensity hops with big malt characters, blend themselves into a harmonious work of artisanal craftsmanship. Pistols at Dawn Red Ale is a dark, ruby-coloured ale, with brown toast crust and sweet toffee aroma. The flavours of sweet fruit and the complex blend of Galaxy, Summer, and Citra hops blend well with a rich crystal malt backbone. At 5.1% abv., this full-flavoured ale is a sessionable complement to BBQ, saucy, or dry-rubbed meats.
