Ok good signs, the head is showing some life. Color, a hazy copper orange......True to what it says on the bottle: "just a hint of cranberry....a well rounded beer". A hint is plenty to add some interest to this. I think its a better play of cranberry than L'ephemere, the last cran beer i tried...... A fresh aroma. Hops are gentle and compliment the flavors. Somewhat of an off soapy aftertaste along with the cranberry bitter/tartness. Dries my teeth, which is par for the fruit.... Fruity Caramel/biscuity malts underlie everthing..... The body is smooth. Though if this whole package was bigger and sweeter i'd like it better. Its still a good casual beer

Yet another brew from Green's in Atlanta. First off, when I poured this brew it was complete foam with nothing else whatsoever which makes me think, "Is this brew past it's prime?" I am going to let this brew breathe and thin pour once again in hopes of it being ready for a review. The aroma is very sweet with alot of sweet berries coming though as well as some spice like coriander and maybe nutmeg but I could be wrong. The appearance is a nice and cloudy, to murky orange, in color when held to the light with some nice bronze overtones with a monumentous head on top that is massive and very carbonated, as well as bubbly, and a light-tan to off-white in color and remains on top while it sits warming to room temperature. The mouthfeel is light to medium in body and surprisingly good with some nice fruity complexities with a palate that is wet-like and very desirable in my opinion. The flavor is full of cranberry and unknown spices and is not that bad but is very sweet and has an aftertaste that showcases some maltiness but for the most part this brew is just very sweet and very cranberry-like. Overall, not a bad seasonal brew here and is tasty but I could not drink more than one of these bombers in one seating but this brew would be good with a big Holiday dinner around Christmas-time; to bad it is June now, LOL!

This was like cran-beer. Cranberries are taking over the liquid industry. First juice, now beer. I thought this beer was a very interesting Christmas ale. Slightly hoppy, with corriander, hints of lemon and orange zest, and of course, those devilish little red bastards, the cranberries. They aren’t singing now, my friends, they are dancing on my tastebuds. Very intriguing and interesting. Clean mouthfeel and finish. Definitely one I would have again, but could be a little more intense with the flavors.

Whoa, I get to be the first!?! I don't think many people will be rushing out to buy it after this review. First, full disclosure: I usually don't like fruit or flavored beers and this is no exception. If you're into cranberries, you may love this. Pours a redish amber color with some head that left a bit of lace down the glass. Scent is of cranberries and malt. Taste is sour cranberries, and...
, well, it kind of reminds me of a thin wine cooler without the sweetness. Definately sour and bitter, but it's almost watery. Overall I'm not the slightest bit impressed. This reminds me of "bitch-pop" that high school kids buy for their girlfriends so they can get them drunk. "It's not beer, you'll like it!" -

A murky orange color I expected it to be red? A cranberry and coriander aroma. The flavor is rather crisp with cranberries of course and a hint of spice. I also picked up some apples oddly enough. The body was rather thin and it wasnt exactly bursting with flavor. Overall it was ok.

Pours a light brown with dark orange highlights. The head is thin. The aroma is a bit of cranberry in the aroma. This is not a strong aroma, but there isn’t a lot else going on. A very light maltiness is backed up by a small touch of the cranberry. A little bit of bitterness in the end. A bit lackluster.

Yawn.
No, I'm not tired. Nor am I not getting enough sleep. No, my yawning is from this rather inane and exceptionally dull glass of beer.
I wanted to like this -- I respect organic industries as much as the next guy. And one would expect that Butte Creek would go all-out with their holiday seasonal..., and so this should be the cream of their crop. Well, if this is the very best that they can do, then I can't say that I have a high opinion of the future of this outfit.
Boring-as-all-hell-get-out, through and through. Nil head, atop a muddy-ruddy body. Flat and lifeless in the mouthfeel, that mirrors the rather dissonant flavor profile. "Holiday spices"? Hardly. Basic anonymous fruit flavoring, with some bare-bones bitterness here and there. But nothing here can save my boredom with this beer.
Pass this one by, IMO....

Medium brown color, tints of cranberry, slightly cloudy. Small to no head. Aroma is cranberries (DUH!), fruitcake and spices. A medium bodied ale/fruit beer. The cranberry flavor is more in the nose and aftertaste than in body of the beer. It has a nice malt backbone and some hop kick to go with all that cranberry flavor, As it warms it picks up a nice fruit tartness and the flavor mellow and smoothes. An interesting beer, if you don’t object to cranberries. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with a distinct cranberry flavor.
