This special release was mashed with pilsner, spelt and wheat malts. Subtle spices compliment the noble hops. The beer has been fermented with our unique mixed fermentation culture and aged in wine barrels for a year before packaging. Second release onwards have spent a year in white wine barrels. July 2020: 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.6%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of spices, saison yeast, dry white wine and oak. Dry and quite sour flavour with the same elements as the aroma, hints of white wine vinegar and apple cider vinegar.
