For this Autumnal release we brewed Skullsaw (formerly Slasher) with 2-Row, Munich, and Midnight Wheat for a deep roast character. No spices, flavoring or gimmicks, just the pure and simple taste of 450 pounds of NC sweet potatoes.

Pours opaque coffee with a thick tan head. Aroma offers up roast malt, sweet potato and earthy tones. Sweet potato! Flavor features roasty, earthy and sweet potato notes for a mouthful of harvest. Mouthfeel presents OK body and peppy fizz. I dare saw, a good porter.
