I found this to be the most enjoyable of the Bullfrog items that I sampled. The pitch black coloring and frothy head were very nice looking. It had a strong caramel aroma. The taste was very good, and full.

Poured an opaque, dark brown color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malts, oats, chocolate, and a light citrus hoppiness. Taste of more roasted malts, light nuts, chocolate, that finished astringent, almost a little sour. Average mouthfeel.
