A true British style Porter, brewed for our warmer weather and for drinkability. The medium body is fresh with roasted coffee/ toffee aromas and flavors from start to finish. This Porter has a creamy head like a cappuccino, but none of the caffeine. Made from dark roasted malts, this is a dark beer lovers dream. The Duke family’s first tobacco cigarette was called Pro Bono Publico which in Latin means “for the public good.” Sorry this beer is not free. We recommend it with our pound cake like coffee with dessert. Served on the Nitrogen blended tap. Hops Used: Northern Brewer, Goldings, Fuggles

Taps opaque coffee brown with a thick light tan head. Aroma features roast malt, coffee and toffee tones. Flavor echoes the aroma, rather stouty and mouth-filling. Mouthfeel offers good body for a porter and peppy fizz. Pro bono brewico.
