found late in the season last year and almost missed my prob favorite pumpkin beer. Only close competition is Dogfish and Post Road. definately more of a watery flavor then others but is an easier drink then the other two. light pumpkin flavor and minimal spice impact making it a good lighter beer for dinner, last year had my 6 pack for thanksgiving cooking and then with dinner.

Got a 6-pack of this one at Walgreens in Vegas. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a fizzy warm cap that disappears quickly and leaves not much lace. Smells like pumpkin purée at first, but then the spices come out (cinnamon, nutmeg). Same for taste with just a little sourness, and less spices. Seems like a decent brew for those who prefer more pumpkin than spices.

Firm aroma is malty with an overtone of cinnamon and a strong hint of pumpkin. It pours a nice clear amber with minimal head or lacing. Malty flavor has a pumpkiny undertone and a hint of spice, mainly cinnamon. At least this pumpkin ale tastes more of ale than pumpkin! Fizziness is minimal - but this may be because this bottle was in the car for a couple days during hot Atlanta weather.

Pours a golden orange - hazy - with a thin white head. From the minute you crack open the cap, you're greated with cinnamon, nutmeg/pumpkin pie spice - quite nice, although it may still be a bit early in the season for such around here (still in the mid 90s with 100-degree heat index) and 90% humidity... I digress... very thin on the pallette and the flavor was not on par with the aroma. As a matter of fact, it was really short on any flavor at all - quite a disappointment in that catagory. Overall not bad - just not as good as I had expected.

I'm thinking this is going to be a beer you either love or hat. This is something I can have in small doses and enjoy. Flavor of pumpkin pie spice and is very smooth. A enjoyable fall beer.

Sometimes pumpkin beers are good fro the flavour, sometimes because they don't have flavour.. this is the latter .. Pours a murky orange brown .. light foam ,,no real sticky lacing .. muddles sweet maple and very light spice .. one of the better pumpkin brews i've had but ehh.. the best piece of meat the preist had was nun..

A cloudy orange colored ale. If there was a head I missed it. Something white and frothy popped above the body but disappeared quickly, leaving nothing but the orange body. This is about pumpkin. The aroma is pumpkin. The taste is pumpkin spices, which actually get better as this one warms. The body is thin, crisp and carbonated.

I was a little apprehensive about trying this one for a while, but it was decent. Aroma of pumpkin (of course)and malt. Flavor had a intial clove and nutmeg bite, but not much pumpkin in the taste. Body was an orange-amber with a thin fizzy, fast fading cap. Overall it is one of the better pumpkin ales, simply because it isnt so overwhelming.

Pours a golden color with a small, quickly disappearing head. Cloves, Cinnamon, and nutmeg on the nose. Spices drown out whatever pumpkin flavor was supposed to be there. Thin and bodiless.

they did a great job with heavy use of pumpkin and spices to cover up what would be a very boring beer. low on "beer", high on spice. still thin, but if you like pumpkin and allspice, this one's for you.
