Here we find the King Of Beers. What can I say? Mass produced lager style beer that seems fairly popular. Compared to almost all other beers this beer is pretty weak in all catagories. It has an unusal finish that is hard to describe. Crisp yet somehow has a bite to it. A friend took the brewery tour and found that the "Beechwood Aging Process" actually contains beechwood. The wood is laid in the bottom of very large tubes and then covered with some type of semi-liquified bacteria. The bacteria is allowed to permeate the wood where upon they charge the tubes with the beer and let it set for some 24 hours before it goes through a finishing process. This appearantly allows AB to produce mass quantities quickly while retaining an "aged" flavor. All in all not the worst beer I have tried but there are many others that exceed this one.

Can / Draught. Colour – clear pale yellow, frothy white head, decent lacing. Aroma – grainy hops, vomit, acidic notes. Mouthfeel – weak bodied, watery. Flavour – grainy malt, metallic notes, a weak bitter finish. There is nothing about this beer that says it is a good beer, although when I was younger…..

Pours clear, pale yellow with white head. Dissipates quickly. Weak aroma of malts and grain. Medium low carbonation. Almost no taste at all. A little saltiness - not much else.

Who haven't drank this beer in America. When it's served really cold at a ball game. It does help to wash down the peanuts and hot dogs. It's one of those beers your buddies who don't know any better drink.

This beer is the equivalent of tasting sterilized hospital water. I first tried this when I was in high school due to the massive amounts of media-marketing involved, but yeah........never again. In fact, you can probably brew up a batch with friends creating your own recipe putting this beer to shame. If you enjoy this? May the Beer-Gods have mercy on your soul.

From can, thus hard to tell color and foam, only taste. And taste is metellic. Nothing much to say about this beer, a pilsener for the mass American style. (Houston, 201201)

the only way this is king of beers is due to advertising $$$$. perhaps they should spend less on advertising and more on trying to make a good beer. pours pea yellow, little head, little taste except for water and what is that smell ugh!

Yeah Budweisers pretty good. I dont know if it's truly the king of beers but it is pretty darn good. It only costs about 10 dollars a 12 pack too so it's not gonna break your budget or anything. For the money it's darn good, it even gives some import beers a run for the money. People hate on Budweiser cause they feel it's not that good, but hey I tell them to go and pay extra money for their imported beer. Imported beers cost a lot more than Budweiser and half of them are not even as good as a old fashioned ice cold Bud. So I recommend this beer for peopleon a budget who want to drink something that's a little above average.

How is it that this is one of the most popular beers in the US? I couldn't get past the skunky smell but then I moved on to the taste and that was just stale and not good at all.
