Very good stout with coffe and chocolate aftertaste. Very palletable and somewhat smoky peat nose. Bitter sweet is balanced just right. Nice tan head with good lacing. Overall a very good stout!

Is it just me or does the floaties in this brew turn you off?! I pored two large glasses from a one pint - 6 oz. bottle and my friend took the first frink and just about gagged when he swallowed a lump of what I assume was yeast. The label reads "Live ale- Keep refrigerated". I bought this at BevMo off the room temp shelf so don't know if that lent to the chunks or not. I took two sips and though the beer tasted great but could not get past the lumps so tossed it. Too bad because it had great potential!

Here we find the King Of Beers. What can I say? Mass produced lager style beer that seems fairly popular. Compared to almost all other beers this beer is pretty weak in all catagories. It has an unusal finish that is hard to describe. Crisp yet somehow has a bite to it. A friend took the brewery tour and found that the "Beechwood Aging Process" actually contains beechwood. The wood is laid in the bottom of very large tubes and then covered with some type of semi-liquified bacteria. The bacteria is allowed to permeate the wood where upon they charge the tubes with the beer and let it set for some 24 hours before it goes through a finishing process. This appearantly allows AB to produce mass quantities quickly while retaining an "aged" flavor. All in all not the worst beer I have tried but there are many others that exceed this one.

This is the pinnacle of America's light beer mass producers and better than the offerings of Miller or Coors. Very drinkable, especially if very cold and in mass quantities. The "more you drink the better it tastes" mentality proves true here. Very popular bar beer with hilarious TV ads, it hits home to all walks of life, be it construction worker or professional man. Slightly more palatable than its cousin Budweiser, it is better served from the bottle than the can or keg but all three are passable. $0.5/12 oz. is the usual on-sale price in larger 30 pack quantities and appeals to the working man who can not afford to quaff 10-12 higher quality libations per night. An ice cold bottle is definitely a thirst quencher on a hot Oklahoma summer day and it's hard to beat out of a brown paper bag on the way home from work!
