Surprising find by a good, local brewer. Pours with a constant brown head on top of a dark black body along with a touch of nice lacing. Toasted bread aroma with burnt coffee, sugary milk, and American hops. Highly carbonated for a stout and very filling with a good amount of bitterness. Rolling creaminess is very smooth on the palate. Robust in nature with heavy doses of burnt malt, molasses and milk chocolate. Rather hoppy with some good floral and pine notes. Good beer here.

Poured an opaque black color with a small, tan head that left clingy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, tons of smoke (reminded me of Alaskan Smoked), nuts, and chocolate. Taste of more smoke, with chocolate, vanilla beans, roasted malt, with no alcohol at all.

Excellent appearanca, although my bottle may have been a little overcarbonated. The head is dense and a dark tan and the body is absolutely black. The aroma has a hoppy bite along with a mocha and charcoal. The flavor is a little dusty, and off-dry. Excellent dry stout.
