Not the best tasting Brooklyn product, or lager, that I've had. A great looking beer, nice gold color, lots of effervescence. A nice malty beer, but the hops were lacking substance.

A pleasant lager experience that does nothing to expand the style. Good golden colour with a white head. Aroma is grains, bread, and hops. Taste is pretty much the same. Good finish.

No, mon. I'm a-hungry! Brown bottle, good white head, light lacing .. . light sweet aroma, touch of dead grass .. . light cereal, burlap sack, sweet maple, and light sap- an interesting blend with a mostly sweet mouth .. . refreshing and quintessentially an a american style pils .. . What are you looking at, you... peckerhead!

An adequate American interpretation of a Czech style. A decent offering of Noble hops, but very pale in color and very thin in the mouth. It really lacked any appreciable substance - however, it was not bad... just not great.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a pint glass. The bottle has a best before date. Appearance: The body has a bright golden color with very good clarity and some nice streams of fine carbonation rushing to the head. The head builds up tall and fluffy. It is bright white in color, has good retention and makes some lacing on the glass. Smell: Its aroma has a light biscuity malt presence with some floral hops. Taste/Mouth Feel: The flavor is very clean, crisp and very well balanced. A subtle biscuity malt mixes with a mild floral and almost fruity hops. The hops bring a pleasant bitterness and dry crispness to the finish. It has a smooth light texture with just enough carbonation to match its light to medium body. Notes: This is a very clean and highly drinkable Pilsner and it is great on a hot summer day.

I don't really like this style, that being said I did enjoy this beer. Very crisp and clean and well balenced. the finish is great with malt and hops.

From a bottle. Pours a clear yellow with a nice white head, but it doesn't last long. Aroma is typical for a pilsner, malty although more of a hop presence than most. Flavor is actually really good considering this isn't my favoite style. Surprising hop bitterness at the end, that really made this one of the best pils i've had.

Heavy peppery aroma with a rye bread scent. Buttery and malty with plenty of noble (saaz) hops. Great pour, must be gentle in order to control the towering, fluffy head that forms. Dark gold in color with plenty of white lacing and a thick, foamy, white head. Hearty Pilsner, nice and full bodied. Spicy hop bite along with a soft creamy aftertaste. Bold flavor with a great hop presence and enough malt to create a good balance. Green and peppery hop flavors, followed by doughy bread, caramel, and pretzels. This is one rocking Pils.

Bottle courtesy of mgermani: Poured a clear golden color pils with a big foamy head with good retention and great lacing. Aroma of dry malt with some light floral hops. Taste is a nice mix between dry malt with a light floral and dry hoppy finish. I noticed some spices which may be from the yeast strain that was used. Body is quite full for the style with some great carbonation. Well done.

Very pale golden brown body that looks mildly hazy in my glass a modest sized head was produced but was gone after a minute or two a small skiff remained that was constantly replenished with good carbonation bubbling to the top. Hops was the first thing I noticed this was well complemented with some sweet smelling darker malts, the aroma seems to be getting more and more faint by the minute. Is that sour candy I can slightly pick up? Good smelling beer but nothing amazing. On the very first sip the first thought that comes to mind for me is apple juice, very malty beer I’m loving it. Nice smooth slightly roasted malt flavor comes through awesomely and this is perfectly balanced with some nice light hopping. The flavor starts and finishes with a mild bitterness, mouth fell is medium bodied and has a good amount of carbonation. Great brew the taste is very crisp and refreshing, I will be picking this up again I can see this in my regular rotation.
