This was a weakly smelling lager from the Brick Brewing Company (BRB on the Toronto Stock Exchange if you have a need to throw money away). There was a weak wisp of honey to go along with a grainy malty taste that led to a huge bitter after taste that generally I prefer to avoid.

Limited Edition Signature Series 2005 that came w/ a pilsner glass. The aroma is a little souer and off-putting, but other than that this honey red is merely average. While it's miles ahead of their Laker Honey Brown, it's not as good as their PC Honey Red. I'm glad it was only one bottle. I could've handled a 6'er, though a 12 would've been to much.

On tap at the Dalby house. pumped out a light copperish amber...has the typical vacant Brick nose....no smell to speak of. Flimsy small head that collapses quickly to a tiny ring...heavily carbonated. Has a mild bready malt taste but it is so weak you can just barely detect it...mild hopping, weak mouth feel ( except the fizzy carbonation blast that over powers any taste there is) the finish is interesting there is the smallest "bite" of citrusy honey..then a complete drop off. Like all the Brick beers lately this one is bland and hard to detect a character...they say they will be bottling this soon...yaaaa , can hardly wait...not!
