Beer number two in Brewsters beer lunch the Brewsters Original Lager. Very standard looking lager gold with a thin white skiff floating on top and a large amount of carbonation bubbling up from the bottom of the glass. The aroma of this beer is nonexistent it’s like smelling water I think I was able to detect some slight grain but that just might have been my lunch. Mouth feel was light and crisp didn’t mind it at all, the flavor itself seemed slightly watered down and very light. Slight hops could be noticed along with lemon grass and had a very out of place banana finish. Like most of the Brewsters beer this is very drinkable and completely forgettable they real need to start taking more risks when brewing because there is nothing special about their beer making people want to go back for more.

This beer, served by our less than attentive waitress, looked nearly identical to the Czech Pils in colour from here, just slightly darker. Solid gold brew with near zero white cap. Aroma is mainly grainy but there wasn't much else that stood out. The beer had that watered down feel to it. Taste was average with some notable hops early on, lemon and grass with a slight sourness. Mouthfeel was, meh. Too fizzy, OK bitterness early on but the oberabundance of carbonation nagged at me. I don't like the taste of the hops either. A touch of malt hangs around. This didn't really give me what I wanted for a lager. Overall it's drinkable and totally inoffensive but boring and absolutely forgettable.
