Clear amber with light amber lasting, lacing foam head. Decent hoppy aroma and very nice bittersweet taste - not too sweet. Some nutty tones. (Velp 201507)

Sampled from bottle. Pours hazy dark copper with much sediment. Collared, scattered white head. Pleasant resinous hoppy aroma. Some spruce notes. Full-bodied with enough gas and bitterness to make it easy to drink. Some biscuit maltiness but the flavor is dominated by the piney hops. A bit ugly, but otherwise a fine beer.

Bottle courtesy of FengshuiDCU. Pours an outstanding orange copper with a low head. Hops and pine in the aroma. Mouth has a nice bite. Flavor is nice, hoppy, and backed with a bit of sweet. Nice.

On tap at the WurstHaus, lake Jackson. Have to day I liked this version better than the first, this one poured a murkey caramel, slightly yellow tinged body, not much head to speak of. Flavor of Pine and citrus hops but the stickey sweet malt seemed to take center stage. Overall it was a nice brew, tasty and rich.

Pours out in a shady reddish amber colour with a small creamy white head. Hoppy and rather sappy aroma of pine, resin, plums,, Sevilee oranges with hints of caramel. Nearly full-bodied with notes of bittersweet notes of pine, resin, red grapefruit,, mango, Seville oranges and caramel. Well-hidden alcohol but a bit rough carbonation. Bitter finish of of grass, pine, grapefruit and sweetish notes of Seville oranges. Much better than their earlier version IMHO.

Bottle served at Cancey’s Brewdog dinner.: Poured a hazed amber color with a 2 finger tight cap that laces well. Fantastic aroma: Big Big PacNW aroma Citrus, Pine, Mango over a substantial malt profile that gives a roast-toffee aroma. Remarkable palance between layed hopping and malts...mid palate the complexity hits for a seconf then down a long bittering spiral to the finish that ends with a massive hop bite. Very decent big IPA

330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Batch 62, ABV is 9.2%. Orange colour, big to moderate off-white head. Very nice aroma of fruity (mainly citrussy) and piney American hops. Also notes of crystal or caramel malts. The flavour has loads of piney hops throughout, with a substantial bitterness, on a fairly sweet malty background. Hints of tomcat. Not "well balanced", but what do you expect from an imperial IPA?

Smells like a big hop factory with a hinge of citrus. Gorgeous color to this beer is looks amazing. White head that does not last but the color is great. A nice sunset orange going on here. Medium body with very nice carbonation and a crisp finish. Flavor is... well hoppy... but it is not over sweet and is not over hoppy it is balanced.. and very nice... This beer is good really good.. nice buy! -
