An all-out New England Patriot of a beer. Brace yourself for a full-tilt fruit hit. Pineapple, mango, stone-fruit, and a hint of lime head for the State-line. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a smoother ride. Fall for the East-Coast crush. Hazy Jane - Clouded clarity for the IPA generation.

440 ml can, as BrewDog Double Hazy Jane New England IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.2%. Hazy / murky golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, yellow stonefruits, spruce and pine. Flavour with the same elements, not too sweet, moderate bitterness. Good beer.

Pours hazy topaz with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma provides rich piney hops, zesty orange with a touch of tart grapefruit, a strong note of crisp fresh malt. Flavor delivers piney but hardly bitter hops, creamy fresh malt, zesty orange and grapefruit. Texture offers decent body and fizz. No plain Jane, a satisfying IPA.

Can that pours a hazy golden-orange colour with a bubbly-frothy white cap, good stay and some streaky foam lacing. Fairly grassy hops for a NEIPA, cutting into the juiciness. A bit less in the taste, but still too strong. Good bitterness, creating some dryness in the finish. Hazy, but lacking juicy. Good as a West Coast IPA.
