2014 - 3rd edition. Pours an almost black colour with a big light-brown head, great retention and some foamy lacing. At first, lots of dark fruit aromas which reminds me of a porter, but then the roasted malts show with some cocoa, coffee and even hints of vanilla. The alcohol is well-hidden in the mouthfeel, but there is a nice bite from the grassy hops and the espresso coffee. All of this with the burnt malts and dark fruits. Not a bad brew, but wish it was stronger with the coffee. Almost more of an Imperial Porter.
