This brown ale pours a clear copper colour with a creamy off-white head that has decent retention and lacing. Has no carbonation though. Nutty nose with nice sweet caramel and roasted malts. Hop is also present. Watery mouthfeel with a slight oil and good body. The roasted malt is more apparant in the taste with a light bitterness from the hop. Quite nice overall and beats any Schoune I have had recently.

Bottle: Poured a deep brown color ale with s small off-white head with minimal retention. Aroma of caramel malt is quite strong. Taste is dominated by sweet caramel malt with some molasses. Carbonation is a bit low but body is above average for style and that is appreciated. Definitely not a style that I truly enjoy but well made nonetheless. I am guessing we will see more interesting beer from this brewery in the future.
