Thanks to Chopz for picking this up. Pours a massive amount of foamy bubbly white head, has a clearish pale golden appearance. Big thick sticky lacing. Excessive carbonation. Aromas of wheat, floral and herbal hops, a little bit of yeast, slightly perfumy. Flavours are wheaty and some yeasty notes, some citrus and grassy notes as well. Full bodied. Average retention.

Purchased in a small convenient store in Hull, Quebec. Pours a cloudy golden-beige colour with a frothy white head that has decent retention and small lacing. Beautiful coriander aromas with witbier yeast. Refreshing mouthfeel that is a bit thin for my likings. The taste is bit mild as well. Curaçao (orange) peel is present with the light spices. A tad more bitter than most witbiers. A decent version of this type.

Mondial de la Bière 2009. Poured in the brewery taproom a hazy deep gold colored beer with a small white foamy head that had a medium retention. Nice lacing. The aroma is spices, coriander and fruity, curacao. The flavour is fruity, aciditic fruits, citrus, orange, curacao. The finish is a long fruity persistence. Very nice

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty beige color ale with a medium size white head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of orange peel with some wheat malt. Taste is dominated by orange peel with some light coriander and some consistent wheat malt. Body is quite full with limited filtration and bottle conditioning with some good carbonation. Well done but I prefer my wit with more coriander and less residual sugar.
