Finale d'agrumes.

Bought a 6-pack of this in a Hull convenient store. Wow... ginger, citrus and rice (written on the case). Pours a hazy golden colour with a foamy soap white head. Medium retention with little lacing. Mostly ginger is in the aromas, with notes of other spices. Same for the taste. A little of that rusty tasting hop with the ginger. Hints of the citrus are more present when tasted from the bottle. Pretty interesting spiced beer (more than witbier). Still, quite refreshing overall.

An interesting beer. The ginger is quite overpowering, but ginger beers have been popular in Asia for years. Cloudy, gold, medium white cap. Ginger and citrus is the waft of the evening. The flavour is still very much ginger. There are some signs of a witbier here, but they are weak.

The beer poured a hazy golden orange into the glass with a thin white head. The aroma was strong ginger, some floral hops, and malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was overwhelm ingly ginger, with some sour notes, some pepper, and malt.

Mondial de la Bière 2009. Poured in the brewery taproom a hazy gold colored beer with a small white foamy head that had a short retention. Poor lacing. The aroma is spicy, overdominated by the ginger. The flavour is quite the same, a powerful ginger with aciditic fruits, citrus. The finish of this medium bodied beer is a long fruity time. I like it.

Bottle: Poured a hazy blond color ale with a medium pure white foamy head with some retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of wheat malt with notes of orange peel and some light coriander. Taste is also dominated by some wheat notes with light spices. Body is quite full with nice bottle conditioning and good carbonation. Well done with no major flaws and medium complexity.
