Can, Zab Café - Nicaragua version. Pours a real dark brown, almost black colour with a mocha-coloured fizzy head, average retention and some small foam ring around. Rich nose of roasted and chocolate malts, with the coffee, hints of maple syrup, alcohol, nuttiness. The taste shows some dark fruits from the roasted barley and decent dry hops in the finish, blending mild grassiness. Not bad, but lacking some coffee notes. Too bad. Mostly a boozy stout.
