Staying true to the classic pale bock lager, the Bozone Maibock is lighter in color and drier in flavor, with a distinct spice and flair toasting spring in Montana. The Maibock Lager is a pale version of the classic Bock Lager, which originated in Einbeck, Germany around the 15th Century. The original Bock is a strong lager with amber/copper color, often brewed in conjunction with special occasions, such as Easter or Lent. The Bozone Maibock Lager holds true to the original, but tends to be lighter in color and drier/hoppier in flavor, and it adds a nice spice and flair to the reawakening of spring in Montana. 2013 NABA Bronze Medal
