A German-style ale fermented on the cool side to retain many classic lager characteristics. Clean finishing, with a bready and light malt character upfront. A pleasing blend of German hops contributes light spice, herbal tones, and a delicate bitterness.

Clean golden colour with an amber hue. Warm off-white big cap, good stay and some nice dirty lace. Fruity aromas of apples, pears and hints of banana, vanilla. Even some light caramel and nicely balanced hops. This continues in the flavours. Some light molasses mixing with the rest. Not as bready as European Kellerbier, but it is a nice fruity refreshing beer.

The beer pours a translucent metallic gold colour with almost no head, pretty much just a thin white ring along the edge of the glass. The aroma is grass, caramel, earthy notes, and herbal hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with above average carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt, a citrusy almost Sprite-like taste, and a decent bitter hop finish. -

473ml tallboy from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy off-white head and has a clear golden appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of sweet and bready malts. Flavours are mainly bready and light toasty malts. A bit sweet as well. A bit of a rusty like finish on the palate. Good retention. Medium bodied. Mouthfeel is slick and very light pasty like. Not bad.
