"Reverend Mark" is Reverend Mark Forrester, our favorite Methodist minister who happens to be the 2002 Tennessee Homebrewer of the Year. As one of his awards for winning this coveted title, we worked with Mark to develop one of his recipes into a commercial product here at Boscos. "Maibock" is a light colored Bock beer, traditionally brewed and served in May. Bock beer is incorrectly perceived by some as "bottom of the barrel". Indeed, it represents the quintessential expression of German brewing tradition. Just ask Fred.
