Ah yes, our saison. This Belgian style beer is brewed with pilsner malt, Belgian saison yeast, and European and American hops. Notes of lemon, banana, and white pepper will dance on your nose and palate. The pepper, banana and ester aromas come from the Belgian yeast that?s used, with the late hop addition of Saaz and Cascade providing some extra spice and flavour.

Pours a light golden colour with lots of tiny bubble carbonation being active. The big frothy head lasts quite a while and leaves thick foamy lace. Aromas are a nice balance of sweet yeast and citrus notes, mainly oranges. The taste shows the same balance plus the added hops in the finish. This give a nice dry touch. Some good bitterness lingers. All well-balanced again. This one seems to grow on me as I sip it.

Can from LCBO. Pours a fairly big foamy bubbly white head and has a pale golden appearance. Lively carbonation. Some sticky lacing. Aromas of yeast, floral and grassy notes, a little bit of bready malts. Flavours are mostly tropical fruit, yeasty and a bit wheaty, some earthy notes as well. Somewhat of a light tarty finish. Drying mouthfeel.
