Pours hazy, reddish honey-golden with a nice buff head. Honey dominates the aroma while letting floral and fruity notes to share the stage. Strong flavor is mainly honey with straw, floral and raspberry notes. Firm texture has a strong and persistent fizz. A honey of a mead - get moony!

On draft at the BBC brewpub in Louisville. A melomel mead that has a golden appearance, no head, no red hues detected, although the lighting wasn't stellar. The aroma was raspberry, honey, and strong floral boquet notes. The flavor followed suit, with the floral honey blossom notes most distinctive beyond a plain blend of honey and raspberry. This was actually quite refreshing, certainly not cloying or sugary thick among meads at a mere 7.8% ABV. Mouthfeel was a bit spritzy, pushing this close to a club soda-alcohol mixed product, otherwise pretty good stuff.

The body is ruby with a smallish head. There’s definitely a sweet honey aroma, but the raspberries actually tricked me into thinking they were apples for a little bit at the beginning. Candy sweet and with the carbonation, tastes a bit like a fruit soda.
