A knock your socks off stout with tons of roasted barley in this strong and dark brew. The roasted flavor is complemented by a variety of English hops.

Dark color, pretty much black, with a medium sized tan head. The first flavor I noticed was coffee then some light roasted maltiness with bitter hops following. I thought this beer was a tad thin and I really could sum it up with coffee and some bitter hops being pretty much what I got out of it. Still, it wasn't bad at all and definitely a decent drink.

This is hoppy bitter for a stout. My guess is that it was also a bit light for a stout so there wasn't an abundance of malt covering the hops. Good head.

An outstanding stout! Very thick in texture that poured into a creamy brew. Nice pillowy head that laced the glass all the way down. Very black in color. Lots of coffee without the usual bitterness accompanied by the coffee flavor. Good mouthfeel with very nice carbonation. One of the "upthere" stouts.
