Pours hazy golden with a decent white head. Aroma has a strong overtone of cinnamon with hints of apple. Flavor is like a liquid apple pie, cinnamon and apple but with a malty underpinning. Body is average but fizz is firm, if not persistent. Get your horchata on.

Had this one on 4/6/15 A golden colored beer with a small, two fingered soapy textured white head rising briefly above. There is no lacing. Cinnamon dominates in the nose and in the tasting but not in an offense way. Grainy and sweetness in a light watery body.

I like horchata as a dessert, but not really in my brew. Not one of Blue Moon's better ones, as it doesn't work for me. Balanced too much on the sweet side. All I tasted was cinnamon, wild rice, and some other spices...yet no hops and beer flavors. I bought the new variety pack specifically for this one. Blue Moon seasonals are becoming more of a "miss" vs. "hit" lately.

Pours out a cloudy dark yellow color with a nice white head. The aroma is very weak. The mouthfeel is just a tick above average. The taste is of vey pronounced cinnamon with notes of other spices.

Part of their Brewmaster's Seasonal Sampler on my trip to Maine. Pours a hazy yellow-golden colour with a foamy white head and a little lace. Fresh grounded cinnamon aromas. You can taste the cinnamon but it is well-balanced by the rice from Horchata drink. Quite a nicely brewed interesting spiced ale.
