This dark, rich and hoppy porter is replacing the Luck o da Irish stout on our nitrogen tap. The true origins of this loverly beer are shrouded in mystery with several Englishman claiming credit, but we do know that it almost became extinct during the Industrial Revolution. Some crafty home brewers and beer enthusiasts helped to revive the style in the early 1970’s and our friend the porter has regained a portion of its former glory. This porter is chocked full of hops, caramel and chocolate malts. Enjoy!

one of the better porters in recent memory...actually brought home a mini keg of this bad boy last year. big roasty aroma and flavor...almost to the level of an imperial, but without the bigger body, extra alcohol or harshness. dangerously smooth.
