An amber ale brewed with all natural ingredients, including real wild blueberries and wild blueberry juice from the State of Maine this beer has a light crisp body and subtle wild blueberry aroma and taste, but is not sweet like many fruit beers. These characteristics have made the beer popular with all age groups, especially young adults and make the beer a popular part of many beer cocktails and mixed beer drinks. For instance, many people enjoy the beer as a part of a "Black and Blue;" an alternative to a "Black and Tan."

I thought this was a very interesting beer, it tasted definitely like blueberries. I was surprised that they made the beer from maine blueberries, and they were wild i wonder if they were organic.I hope someone enjoys this beer .

"This was another nice fruit beer. I enjoyed he subtle blueberry notes that came alive across my palate, but I knew I was still drinking a beer. It went down very smooth and had a nice finish."

One of my favorite beers from these guys- pours a clear copperish colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is sweet and enticing, soft but noticeable blueberry character. Mouthfeel is light, a little watery but filling. Taste is very pleasent and not overly rich. Blueberries, honey and maybe a little raspberry in it as well.

This beer pours a red amberish color, clear, with a thin tanned foamy head which left a little lacing but dissappeared rather rapidly. The aroma was strong at first with blueberries and sticky malt in the nose, but pretty much nothing else. The flavor is light to medium bodied, slightly carbonated and tingly, but overall watery and light, yet somehow cardboardy dry! Some malt, a hint of blueberry and pear? but really, very light and nearly unnoticeable toward the end of this beer. Basically tasted like a red with a little cake frosting added into the finish. Very unexciting, and not my can of worms I guess. I will mention that I did come into this beer not a fan at all of blueberries.
