Through The Quad is our interpretation of a Belgian style Quadrupel (also known as a Belgian Dark Strong Ale). Weighing in at 10% ABV this is our Dead Now on the charge! Filled with that delicious raisin, chocolate and slightly bubblegum character from the yeast on the nose the body follows suit. For a 10% beer this drink quite dry and doesn’t leave that heavy sweetness lingering ending with a soft finishing leaving you asking if it is really 10%.

Pours a deep copper colour with some ruby-amber highlights The head is mocha coloured with decent retention, minimal lacing. Dark fruit aromas with some chocolate malts. Also notes of maple syrup in the nose, as well as in the flavours. Hints of grassy hops, nuttiness. Again, dark fruits. Not your Belgian complexe Quad, but a good one nonetheless.
