A true breakfast beer. The nose is fresh roasted Colombian coffee with a touch of Chinook hops. We roast our own coffee to insure quality and freshness. The coffee strikes a good balance with the English malt sweetness. The roasted malts compliment the woody character of this robust porter. Medium bodied and easy drinking.

On tap at the brew pub. Pours dark brown. Mostly opaque. Light brown head and some lace. Lots of Folgers coffe aroma. Coffee and creamer flavor. Restrained hops. Light on the body. Easy to drink. Pretty enjoyable beer, but not good for a night of drinking.

Smelled of roasty coffee and toffee like sweetness, cool. Nice dark brown head over dark brown body that faded in a few minutes. Clean mouthfeel, except for the coffee grounds... Cofee dominates in the mouth, allowing tiny bits of malt to poke through, but barely. Even the mighty chinook hops get lost amongst the coffee.
