2018 Description In celebration of our 10th anniversary, we crafted the first available Imperial IPA in Ontario. After winning multiple awards, we decided to make this strong, distinctive, and extra hoppy beer available year-round. 10 Bitter Years pours a faint burnt orange in color and carries notable soft malty characteristics that are enhanced with zesty citrus and tropical fruit aromas. We double dry hop this unfiltered beer with a variety of top secret North American hops showcasing the iconic flavour that has made this one of the smoothest and most sought after Imperial IPAs available 2014 Description It is a strong beer coming in at 8% and is made with RO water, malt, hops & yeast. I’ll leave it up to you to decide what style of beer it could be. IF YOU ASK US WHAT KIND OF BEER IT IS, WE’LL JUST SAY "ITS A 10th ANNIVERSARY BEER" Ken is still bitter.

Orange colour pour. Head has good retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet and grapefruit. Very English style in flavour. Quite bitter, grapefruit and pine.I think it would rate better with a little more malt sweetness. Smooth medium mouthfeel.

Single from the LCBO with a painted label on bottle, written 10 Bitter Years (with numbers). Pours a clean amber colour with a creamy-frothy warm cap that stays very, very long and gives out thick, full foamy lace. Aromas of roasted malt, grass, pine and citrus hops. The mouthfeel is really smooth. Hard to feel the alcohol. No burning at all, just basically wet with a little dryness in the finish. Fruity malts with lots of citrus notes. This Impy IPA goes down very easily. Nothing too crazy, but quite smooth.

The beer poured a translucent red colour with a thin white head and some effervescence. The aroma is strong citrus and tropical fruit, with some hints of malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is grapefruit hoppy with caramel and bread mixed in. A very good beer, although the bitter finish was on the 'dry' side. -

Bottle: Decants a turbid orange color with a frothy off white cap. Aroma Is big on Citrus and pine resins, some exotic fruit tones and a whaft of malt. Mouthfeel is oily, big blast of hop mixture throughout the profile; piney resinous, leafy, citrus rind...very bitter but without a sharp delivery ...just enough malting to keep the bitterness from becoming overly astringent. Semi-dry finish alcohol shows...long lingering metallic taste. Sure is a hop bomb but if it were a tad better balanced it would be a great DIPA.
