Epiphany No. 2 is a play on styles as we combined both traditional Czech lager ingredients with Comet, Wakatu and Saaz hops. Weighing in at 7.7% and 37 IBU’s, you will find a pronounced bready malt forwardness, boozy warmth and floral bittnerness perfect for springtime enjoyment! Our brewers also added unmalted wheat to create a creamy foam cap. The result? A full-bodied beer that we are sure will satisfy both craft beer enthusiasts and lager drinkers alike.

Golden colour pour. White dense head doesn't last as long as I expected but leaves good lacing. Flavour is of sweet breaded malt and grassy hops. Smooth almost creamy mouthfeel. Nothing complex about it, just a very tasty beer in a style that I don't normally bother with.

Pours a clean golden colour with a slight orange hue. Big warm cap, frothy, long lasting and with wavy foam lacing. Fruity aromas with some pils hops of fresh mild grass and hints of Belgian Ale yeast. The taste is more where the pils hops shine. Nice grassy zest in the finish. Alcohol very well-hidden. Decent fruity malt. Becomes hazy at last pour. Not exactly what I expected. Just better. A nice limited release.

The beer pours a translucent metallic gold with a generous lasting white head. The aroma is grainy malt, earthy hops, and a little spiciness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour is grainy malt and citrusy hops. Another good effort from Black Oak.
