Our organic "Tripple-style" ale contains hints of fruit, most notably plum, and was made with authentic Belgian candy crystals, organic malts, water, and yeast. The brew is balanced with robust maltiness, a tough of coriander, and the subtle spiciness of organic Cascade hops.

22oz bottle -
The beer pours out a pale golden yellow body, clear with a 1" white airy cap. Aroma is slightly sweet, a touch spicy, some corriander and rubber. Aroma has that candi-malt flavor blended with dried pitted fruit and not overly spicy. Residual sweetness is left behind which helps out the fruity notes come out a little more. Not bad, and a decent introduction to the style for a newbie. -

this is an ok beer. it holds up slightly better to other beers of the style than their chocolate stout does. it does nothing to seperate itself, however. maybe worth trying, but not going back to.

Bison's tripel (or triple if your a lawyer) was a decent attempt at a Belgian classic. It poured a nice orange body with a small head. The aroma was somewhat fruity with hints of coriander and clove. The flavor was sweet and malty, but something was slightly off. Overall a quite enjoyable take on a Belgian Tripel!

Thanks to eaglefan538 for sharing this beer, which he prefaced by stating that it rates "not very good for style." Well, I think we both were pleasantly surprised with this one. Light honey colored pour with smallish head and lacing. Faint light fruity aroma. Simple light fruity flavor, not overly sweet, with good presence of cloves, coriander. Strong spice level, but strangely not offensive. I thought this was nicely done as a Belgian Pale, even if it didn't taste like a traditional trippel.

Bottle, Knightly Spirits. After peaking at the % within style after buying this, I wasn't expecting much at all. Oh, quite contraire! Poured bubbly golden in color, fairly clear body, thin head initially, weak retention, but some bit of a covering while drinking (a ring by the time it was gone). The aroma was simple, apples and cloves and yeast. The flavor was a nice Belgian Strong, yeast, light grapes, and strong cloves. Coriander was there after it warmed a little, along with some pine hops. Mouthfeel was light to moderate for the style, somewhat refreshing. Not my idea of a tripel, but I enjoyed this as a Golden Belgian Strong.

Sampled out of a bottle. Has a nice pour with little head. Has a nice cloudy appearance and a hoppy fruity aroma. Mouthfeel is smooth with a light aftertaste. Flavor is full bodied and has a boutiful taste of hops.

Pours a clear, true gold body with a fluffy, slightly sticky, white head that builds nicely and easily, but fades a little too quickly. The aroma is lightly spicy and has a touch of sweet straw malt. The flavor is lightly sweet, straw and cake malt, coriander and a bit of yeasty spiciness. The Belgian yeast character could have been a bit more promounced, although the alcohol is surprisingly well covered up. The flavor is also a little too quick to fade. Immensely drinkable though.

Bottle (shared with Capflu, DumDum and Lubière): Poured a light golden color ale with a small head without much retention. Floral aroma with weak Belgian yeast. Taste is a mix between some coriander, a bit of candi sugar and some subtle floral malt. Body is definitely too thin and this beer lacks character. Thanks Lubière.

An obscure "USDA Organic" beer, that I ended up paying way too much for. Still, not too terrible. Not too terrible at all, actually.
I grabbed a bottle of this on my latest run to Keg&Bottle -- my first trip since coming back from basically three weeks of being on the road on buisness trips. I was so pleased with the new coolers at Keg&Bottle (and all the awesome new beers they're now stocking), that I didn't notice that this was outlandishly priced at $7.49 for a 22-oz bomber, until it was too late. Oh well, I believe that what comes around goes around, and this just makes up for some of the awesome deals I've picked up on in the past (at Keg&Bottle, and at other places).
Anyway, I was de-lableing a bunch of my beer bottles (for bottling my Belgian Wheat Beer tomorrow), and grabbed this to suck down. Very little in the way of carbonation -- no bubbles, no head, no whiz-bang, nothing.... Hmm, not a good start there, boy-o.
But with the decent enough aroma, and the rather appealingly spicy n' earthy flavor profile, this beer took a nice turn for the better. A little sweet for the style (which is stated to resmble a Tripel vice the Belgian Strong Pale Ale, as listed here), but with enough things going on in the presentation to make it interesting.
Mouthfeel and drinkability are workable, at best -- with the sweetness and "earthiness" coming to something of a stalemate, with the resulting overall drinkability coming in slightly better than the norm.
Overall, this is a tough beer to rate. Doesn't follow through with each and every tennant of what a Belgian Tripel "should" taste like, but is still interesting enough for trying out an "organic" West Coast version of of a Belgian-esqe beer-style. Just pay attention to the price tag...! ;)

Orange gold color. Small white, quickly dissipating foamy head. Aroma is fruity and spicy. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Oranges, apricots and peaches are the predominate fruit flavors. Slightly spicy, with a touch of coriander and slight hint of candi sugar. Very smooth taste. No hint of the 8.1 % alcohol. I’m not sure if I would call this a ‘tripple”, it a toned down Belgian style ale. It has a lot of the Belgian character to it, but they are way to mild. It needs to be kicked up a notch! Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
