This is one of those brews that I am almost afraid to rate with my bad taste tastebuds. On tap at the Sharp Edge Creekhouse in Pgh. This pours like any other pale yellow american ubiquitous lager as far as color goes. Has a clean white head. Aroma is not outstanding and there are a few streams of carbonation rising with in. The tap handle on this is cool looking. Initial flavor is slightly strong but definitely not oppressive. Much milder than the domestic coarse trippels I’ve tasted such as Southern Tier. Interesting off flavor on the onset and then it immediately fades to an alky hint. Again, this is not oppressive, it is just that you can tell the alky content is letting you know its there if you want to notice. Low carbonation, very little tingle on the back of the throat. I am not overly impressed with this beer and will probably get hammered for my numbers. This trippel just does not appeal to my delicate girlie taste buds. THe alky is continually apparent but not in the face. Finish is immediately medium bitter but fades after a few moments to just a memory. Overall, not bad but I’ve been spoiled by Grimbergen Blonde and Chimay White. On par with Allagash trippel and Southern Tier.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet. Golden with a white, fluffy head. Delicious tripel with aroma of Belgian yeast, wheat and floral hops. Very pleasant in every way. Deliciously refreshing and very well balanced. Alcohol is very well integrated. My favorite tripel!

Not really a Red Solo cup beer, but that's where I was. Poured a not quite translucent yellow with a tall, light foamy head. Light flavor without being too sweet or too bitter. Overall very good.

Actually had this at a restaurant I went to and poured in to a tulip glass per the breweries direction or so the waiter said. It had a good foamy head and excellent color. It had a wonderful scent of some spices (apple/orange?) and its taste was sometime citrousy (lemony) with a nice dry aftertaste.

Holy smokes I think these monks have got beer figured out. Pours out a MASSIVE foamy head over a cloudy yellow body. The aroma is all sweet grains. The mouthfeel is thick and rich. The flavor is right on the edge of starting to have sweetness but it's probably from the high quality grains.

a golden orange color with a big cremy foam, a ton of micro BUBBLE. it smelled citrus, grains, in mouth it's spackly , quite Spicy and i found citrus coriande, a little biterness in end of toast, a good depth that stay a long time in month.

Hazy yellow color, very white and thick head. Aromas of hops, citrus. Very sharp and refreshing taste. Not too bitter. An excellent beer. One of the "must haves". I never leave the store without at least a few of these.
