By far one of my favorite European Lagers. Could be b/c it brings back memories of sipping in a bar in Cinqua Terra, Monterossa looking out over the Mediterranian. More than that, it's simple and well make like a Euro Lager should be. Clear, dark golden color with a distinctive, silky mouthfeel that I appreciate. Citriusy Saaz hop bite balanced by the silky mouth make this a very enjoyable beer.

330ml bottle into glass. Hop nose, bit of rubber tyre. Pale amber beer with thin bubbly head. Sweet malts and tinny hops, a bit grainy. Good mouthfeel. Above average euro-lager.

Clear golden color with off white head. Aroma is light with pale malts and a tangy hoppiness. Taste has medium to high carbonation that allows the hops to bite with a little more passion. Pale-grainy malts mix well with the hops. The hop flavor strengthens and grows right to the point of being metallic. Decent lawnmower beer.

12 oz brown bottle with Italian dude label, perhaps he is from Rome or Sicily. Clean fresh aroma almost like springwater from Venango County. Ubiquitous pale yellow american color and appearance. Has rolling fine bubble carbonation within the glass. Very nice carbonation on the palate. Not very bitter but it does have a slight industrial manifestation on the back of the tongue. It is well controlled and has manners for a gentleman’s lager. Pretty light, lighter than many american lights. Finish is easy to enjoy and would make an excellent session brew. Repeatable.

Golden amber with bubbly white head. Rich grainy style aroma. Sour at first but deep rich grainy finish.

Bottle at home, golden beer, small head. Aroma is malt, grain, sweet, bitter. Taste is the same, bitter, malt, grain, quite a bitter drying aftertaste. Not bad

Every time I go to Italy, it is either this or Peroni that is the local draught. Both non-offensive, but neither worth drinking. The beer is a pale gold colour, clear, with a white head. The aroma is grains, and weak hops, with plenty of adjuncts. The flavour is typical of a North American pale lager with a grainy nature and plenty of off-notes.

Pours a light amber with a one finger head that takes its time. Aroma is extremely skunky at first but tapers off a bit later. Massive carbonation. Taste is stake and metallic. This is one dumb dago.

Amber color with fluffy white foam head. Sweet caramel aroma with some hops, taste is nice bitter, however some sweet fruity aftertaste. (Rome 201205)

pour a dark straw colored brew with a small white head which dissipates quickly. Lacing is sparse and spotty. The aroma is supremely skunky. with and even metallic yeast. The taste is of bitter malts which hit first followed by a sweaty, salty quality. The finish is cooling and refreshing, with some light sugars to cut the initial bittering. The aftertaste breathes with more bitter malts, and light metallics. The beer drinks easily.
