750 ml bottle, probably from Voldby Købmandsgaard. ABV is 9.5%. Dark brown colour with floaties, moderate off-white to beige head. Pleasant aroma of malts, caramel, orange peel and raisins, hints of mild spices. Medium sweet and mildly spicy flavour, again with notes of orange peel and raisins. Very moderate hops. A quite interesting and pleasant beer, which I’ll be happy to buy again for Christmas.

A deep reddish brown color, with an off-white head that fades slowly and leaves spotty lace on the glass. The aroma is faint but contains caramelized malts, dark fruit, booze and touches of spice and hops. The taste starts out sweet with flavors of caramel, booze, fruit and some spice. The hops presence is mild but brings a decent balance.Crisp and a little smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

Tasting introduction, prime the pump so to speak and it did just that. A goofy little treat non-offensive with a soft yet firm grassy/malt union happening.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks MMM!). Slightly hazy deep amber colour with a thin off-white bubbly/fluffy head. Aroma is sweet and sour fruits along with some spices, mild yeastyness as well as some slight burnt sugary notes. Flavour is quite much the same with a slight alcohol warming touch. A quite plesant beer, even though it is rather sweet. Quite bodied as for the palate. Weird, but I like.

Pours out in a hazy dark reddish amber colour with a small white foam. Sweet and spicy aroma of yeast, nuts, nutmeg, banana, berries and sweet licorice. medium-bodied with notes of yeast, fudge, berries, herbs and nut-shells. Low carbonation. Yeasty and malty sweet finish with touches of milky chocolate, nuts and berries. Well-hidden alcohol.
