This is an excellent beer. Bourbon porter is black as night, with a great oak nose and taste in the front, dark plum and roasted dark chocolate notes in the middle. A solid, roasty porter complemented by 2 weeks of oaking. Finishing with a wonderful blended bourbon flavor. Enjoy!

Contrary to what was written on the menu, this is NOT an excellent beer. It is a borderline OK beer at best. The pour is a headless dark chocolate colour. The aroma is roasty, with weak hints of raisins and bark. The flavour is similar to most run of the mill porters with roasted malt, chocolate and a bitter finish. It sounds better than it tastes.
