Brown Porter – 5.0 % ABV Named after Norfolk Southern’s fleet of Diesel Workhorses, our “Dash 9 Porter” is a Brown Porter. Very drinkable, with mild roastiness and sweeter caramel notes, but not as mild as a brown ale.

I had this at Big Lick Brewing Company in Roanoke, VA straight out of the tap. This was, in my opinion, the best beer offered that evening. Very smooth and well balanced. The beer had brown ale maltiness but was still roasted and chocolatey like a porter. Well done.
