This subtle but complex ale is meant to be a showcase for our favorite Belgian yeast and beautiful Belgian malts. It is deceptively strong with a citrus and spice finish. It remains light and refreshing but still packs a 7% ABV finish. Please consume responsibly.

Rich aroma has fruity, clove, malt and yeasty notes - it smells almost like unbaked bread but with an earthy hint. It pours a clear golden with a fairly typical white head that leaves some decent lacing. Flavor - such flavor, a malty core; strong yeasty and fruity notes, the latter mainly pear plus a touch of banana; earthy and clove hints. Smooth, firm texture has plenty of fizz and sass, leaving a fruity, yeasty and rather tingly finish. This Belle is a heavenly brew!

Bottle: Poured a light orangey color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar with light fruity ester is OK. Taste is a mix between some candi sugar, which is a bit too raw with some notes of fruity ester and a light dry hoppy finish. Body is quite full with average filtration and good carbonation and no alcohol was perceptible. Not bad though it has some flaws (too much sugar and ingredient don’t’ mesh together).

A murky yellow appearance with a white head. The flavor is a little off putting as it smells like lemon dishwashing soap. The flavor is rather sour with some lemons, hay, and a bready presence. A slightly spicy presence is also noted. Overall it was ok but nothing great.
