Bottled@omhper-post-SBWF-1st-weekend tasting. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, some sweetish sour notes as well ad mild yeastyness and smoke. Flavour is hops, some smoked wooden notes as well as caramel malts. A rather interesting thing. Roasted malts and mild notes of grass and some acidic fruits. Interesting.

Sampled on 7/2/2010. This smoked beer pours a slightly cloudy amber color from a 33cl swingtop bottle. Medium sized white foamy head, decent lacing. Aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet, a touch of tartness. A medium bodied smoked beer. The malts are fruity and sweet, caramel, a touch of tea. A lot of tartness/sourness going on here. The smokiness comes out a little more as it warms, the tea flavor intensifies as well. Kind of a weird beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is ice tea and tart.
