Rerate, 750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6%, vintage 2016. Cloudy golden colour, large white head. Fresh aroma of lemons and brettanomyces. Lemony sour flavour, also "spicy" brettanomyces notes. I'm upping it a point or two. Original rating: Sample from bottle at Edle Dråper-messen, Stavanger. Pale straw colour, hazy. Lemony aroma and flavour, more sour than any other saison I’ve had. Refreshing? Oh yes. A masterpiece? Hardly ... Worth spending a fair amount of money to buy a 750 ml bottle? It’s up to you, but I doubt I will.

pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with beige head. Aroma has intense farmhouse notes like fermented fruits, wet hay and other rustic notes. Taste starts with a hint of fruit tartness but gets more balanced and fruity, slightly malty with farmhouse flavors throughout and finishes quite dry with a slight amount of bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

Why make me do math? Anyway this poured a dark golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some citrus namely lemons, spices, and a bit of vinegar. The flavor is full of citrus and spices with a hint of the funk going on. The finish is rather sour. Overall more funky than a regular saison, kinda like me.
