Don't let the colour fool you, this beer is committed to the Stout Life. Brewed like a traditional stout but using only the malts you would expect to find in a Blonde Ale. To this base we then added copious amounts of Oats to give it a smoother mouthfeel before steeping it with Full Bean Ethiopian Limu coffee supplied by the amazing Happy Goat Coffee Co. Team and finished with Cacao Nibs.

Tall can from the brewery. Pours an average size foamy white head that dissipates quickly and gives way to a thin bubbly coating with thick soapy lace. Has a clean golden appearance. Lively carbonation. Aromas of grainy malt, wheat, yeast, some mild coffee hints. Flavours are almost opposite flavours, the coffee notes are much stronger at first and followed up with some light roasted malt, cocoa nibs, earthy and grassy hops. Smooth and light creamy mouthfeel.

Clean golden colour with a creamy-ish warm cap, good retention and some light foam lacing. Beautiful freshly grinded coffee beans aroma over very light sweet grainy malts. The taste has the coffee, but nicely balanced with the sweet malt which the richness does not last, and is not syrupy. Some mild hops blend things in the end with the cocoa nibs. Very light dryness and goes down nicely. Was expecting a dark stout, but this is quite good with the coffee beans replacing the roasted malts, in a Blonde Ale.
