330 ml clear bottle. Berentsens surprise us again - they have made a slightly mellower version of a Baltic porter as their "klasse F" (Vinmonopolet) Yule/Christmas beer. Dark brown colour, nice and creamy tan head. Very nice roasty aroma with notes of oak, leather, dark bread and coffee. Flavour is moderately roasty and well rounded, elements of coffee, dark chocolate and oak. Tolerable hops. Could use a little more "bite", but this is definitely not a bad beer!

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Storo. Pours dark brown witha a reddish hue and a beige head. Malty aroma with licorice, roasted malt, caramel and hints of dark fruits and chocolate. Sweet, but balanced with some bitterness. Very pleasant and easy to drink. Nice beer for the cold winter months.

Dark ruby red colour with small beige head. Aroma is vegetably malty and slightly roasted. Flavour is sugar, roasted malts and dry dark druits. Lacks some spices etc to be a good Christmas seasonal.
