This beer comes courtesy of beerguy101 and once again a big thank you!! This kreik pours a deep glowing red color with a super thin white soapy head and little lacing. The aroma is ALL cherries with a hint of cherries, topped off with cherries and alluding to some sour cherries. Flavor-wise we’re talking very full bodied, unbelievably smooth and toned down with a silky cherry mouthfeel. What I found incredibly interesting was how the heavily carbonated crisp front of cherries mellowed into a pepperminty spicy finish which bit the palate slightly but not enough to dry the beer out and make it undrinkable. Something of a candy sugar sweet finish. Both tart and sour, yet sweet and smooth. Superb balance and precise funkdification! The balance Belle-Vue acheives is damn good....the ratings here surprise me...you must try a fresh bottle. Fantastic!

pours a deep, dark red colour with a thin and bubly, small pinkish white head and has average retention. The aroma consists of sweet and sour cherries. The taste is also of sweet and sour cherry with some syrup and sugar. The mouthfeel is light bodied and as expected, very sweet tasting with a smooth finish. Fruit beers are my favorite style of beer.

Super sugary and one dimensional. Its got to have food colouring in it to be that colour.... red. Sour cherry, quite dry, bit of biscuit, thin mouth but full flavour even if it is simple and one dimensional. ITs ok. I'd like to call it a girl beer, but I think its too tart....

an red amber beer with a little foam, it gives hints of cherry fruit with a thick bottom mouth, she is very active (sparkling) is very slight bitterness, it's more a beer woman.

Nicely vinelike dark red color. Not much foam. Aroma is including strong cherry, almost no hops or malt is scented in the aroma. Some yeast is coming out from the taste, but it is also cherrylike. Nice thing to drink.

pours with no head and a dark ruby colour. deep cherry aroma. taste packs a punch with alot of tart/sour cherries. i've always enjoyed this beer ONCE in a long while, as its tough for me to have alot of, or even get through a full chalice. it'll be another long time until i have more of this.

A hard drink to judge. For a fruit beer it is one of the best. Cherry flavor is termemdous. If you are not a beer lover (what?) then this is a great alternative. However it is very sweet and half of a drink is enough for me.

Aroma is including much cherry, but also a little grainyness. Rich stable foam. Taste is sour cherries and aftertaste leaves a little too much sourness in mouth...

A interesting exposure. My first taste of both a lambic and such an outrageous fruit beer. Very Very Cherry sweet attack and alot of body. Gets more sour sa hte aroma pogresses. Im not sure how to rate this. I wouldnt go rushing back for more of it but if you like the strong fruit flavour i guess it would be Recommended
