From can, so cannot tell color nor foam. Aroma is bitter pilsener with some little sweet notes. Nuts also. Taste is bittersweet with again some nuts present. Decent bitter aftertaste, a good beer. (Prague 201210)

Sampled on 11/24/2008. This Pilsner pours a yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is grainy and bready, kind of sweet. A medium to light bodied pilsner. The malts are grainy and bready, kind of sweet. The hops are kind of spicy and earthy. Soft carbonation. Its a touch watery and a little weak tasting. No skunk. Is this yet another Budweiser clone, or an original before AB? A little sweet with not much flavor. It does have more drinkability than the AB/InBev Product. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottled. Slightly hazy golden colour with mediumsized white fluffy head Aroma is malts, hops quite grainy and also some mild bready notes. Flavour is sweet malts as well as some mild bitterness coming in close to the finish.

Really, I don't see what the fuss (if there is ever any fuss) over this beer. Said to be the original Budweiser. Eh. It's better than AB Budweiser that's for sure. But really. Is that saying a whole lot? Aroma is decent with a decent Saaz style hop character, a little sweet malt and little else (thankfully, not skunked so I assume it was a fairly fresh bottle). Appearance was clear yellow, medium bubbles and a white foamy head. Mouthfeel was pretty soft, nothing harsh or chemically about it. Flavors were malty, a touch of grassiness there and really easy drinking. This can be knocked back by the dozen to be honest. A really good session beer, but it's not anything we all haven't had before.

I got this brew free from a friend and I am glad being this will be an average brew at best. The aroma is a bit skunky with some pleasant malty profile as well as honey and grain. The appearance is a crisp and golden yellow with a head on top that diminishes to a light, white lacing that sticks to the glass. The mouthfeel is light-bodied and very typical with not much variation. The flavor is grainy, sweet, malty and grassy with an aftertaste that is slightly hoppy and a finish that is smooth. Overall, typical brew here and boring as expected, not worth the money in my opinion.

500 ml brown bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV there is 4.7%. Golden colour, moderate head. Moderate aroma - some grass, flowers and honey. Flavour is fairly clean with a moderately hoppy finish, aftertaste does not last forever. An average drinkable pilsener, but not much more than that.

This is the best looking lager I've ever seen. Really. It's just a bit too sweet for me to call it great, but I could easily slurp down as many as someone put in front of me.
